Fingers are to be kept clear of the crank when tightening and releasing the strap as well as during operation.

Injury resulting from environmental / weather conditions
Risk: Slip/trips in wet and muddy conditions, hypothermia, sun stroke. | | All present | If thunder is heard or lightning seen the activity is to stop immediately. The activity may recommence 20 minutes after the last thunder is heard.
Instructor’s ongoing risk assessment and judgment will decide whether to continue or put a stop to the activity.
